Bath 'n' Blow Dry
Treat your dog to a warm Bath 'n' Blow Dry package, perfect for cold winter days or after a fun filled and sandy day at the beach.
This package includes a warm bath using only the best quality products personalised to your dogs needs, a blow dry, light brush out, ear cleaning, nail clipping and cologne.
*Dogs with matting will not be eligible for this package.
Tidy Up
A tidy up/ maintenance groom which is perfect for in-between haircuts to ensure a furbulous appearance year 'round!
This package includes a warm bath using only the best quality products personalised to your dogs needs, a blow dry, full brush out/ deshed, trimming of the eyes, feet and sanitary areas, ear cleaning, nail clipping and cologne.
*Dogs with matting will not be eligible for this package.
This service does not include any trimming on the body.
Full Groom
Our most popular package, this includes a full haircut to your desired length and style.
This package includes a warm bath using only the best quality products personalised to your dogs needs, a blow dry, a full body hair cut/style clip to your desired length and style, trimming of the sanitary areas, ear cleaning, nail clipping and cologne.
*Dogs with matting may be charged an extra fee.

If your dog is found to have fleas at any time during their groom there will be a clean up fee charged.
Matted dogs may be charged an extra fee on top of their regular groom price depending on the severity of matting present on the day.
Overweight dogs and dogs bigger than their breed standard may be charged the next size category.
Aggressive dogs may be charged a handling fee.
SHORT BARK ‘N' SIDES DOGGY DAY SPA POLICIES
All prices advertised or given before a groom are quotes only and the final price will be determined after the groom is completed with the following policies in mind. Short Bark ‘n’ Sides Doggy Day Spa reserves the right to change prices at any time.
LATE CLIENTS
Please call or text if you are running late as any client arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to either reschedule their appointment (resulting in a no-show/cancellation fee), keep their dog in the salon for a longer time (with a day stay fee added to the groom price) or agree to a lesser grooming service at the cost of the service originally booked.
PICK UP/DROP OFF
As we are a small salon, day stays are limited and we ask that you request a day stay ahead of time if your dog needs to stay in the salon for more than 4 hours. A day stay fee (price depends on size of dog) will be charged for all dogs staying in the salon for 4 or more hours. Please keep in mind that we are unable to take your dog outside to toilet so be sure to allow them the opportunity before entering the salon.
We do request that you pick your dog up from the salon within 1 hour of being notified that their groom is finished.
A fee of $15 per 15 minutes (or part thereof) will be charged for after hours pick ups unless prearranged.
NO-SHOWS/CANCELLATIONS
We offer the courtesy of reminder texts and emails 48 hours before your scheduled appointment so we request the courtesy of timely notification if you cannot make your appointment.
Cancellations with less than 24hrs notice will be charged a fee of 50% of the service booked. This will be payable before or on the day of the next groom appointment.
No- shows will be charged the FULL amount of the service booked. This will be payable before or on the day of the next groom appointment.
3 no-shows or cancellations with less than 24hrs notice will result in no further services being booked for that client.
FLEAS/MATTING/BEHAVIOUR
The presence of fleas or severe matting (found at check in or at any time during the grooming process) will incur extra charges due to time taken, extra cleaning requirements, products used and equipment maintenance costs.
Matting fees may vary from $10-$50 depending on severity. This includes dematting on ears and/or tail.
Flea clean up fee is $5-$10 per dog (depending on size of dog) and includes a flea spray to kill any fleas present on the dog and any areas of the salon the dog has been. It is recommended the client uses a flea preventative after the groom to stop the lifecycle of fleas in the home and on the dog.
Any groom that takes longer than the usual allocated time due to a dog’s behavioural issues, matting or physical impairments (including excess weight) may be charged an additional fee and/or require an additional appointment at a later date to finish the requested service.
ONLINE BOOKINGS
Please ensure you choose the appropriate groom option for your dog when booking online. This allows us the correct amount of time to complete your dogs groom safely and to a high standard.
Short Bark ‘n’ Sides Doggy Day Spa reserves the right to reschedule an incorrectly booked appointment if there is insufficient time to complete the groom requested on check in, due to error on the client’s part, or a lesser service may be offered. In the case of rescheduling, the client will be charged a no-show/cancellation fee.

PHOTOS/VIDEO
Short Bark n Sides Doggy Day Spa may take photos or video of your dog before, during and after their groom and may use these on social media and in advertising. Please let us know if you prefer that we do not use your pet’s photo for these purposes.
Photos are taken at our discretion and are not included in your pet's grooming service, therefore it is not guaranteed your pet will have its photo taken.
REFUSAL OF SERVICE
Short Bark ‘n’ Sides Doggy Day Spa reserves the right to refuse or cease service to any dog, for any reason, at any time.
This includes dogs that may pose a threat to their own or our safety. This may be due to (but not limited to) age, aggression, anxiety or physical impairment.
We are only accepting booking for dogs who have been groomed with us within the last 16 weeks. If you are unsure when your dog last visited our salon, please ask us before booking in to avoid having your booking automatically declined.
